Shaye Tudor is the recipient of the 2017 Courtenay Taafe Scholarship. She captained BC at the age-grade level and the Canada U18 team in 2016 and 2017. Her goal is to one day play in the World Cup.

Favourite memory growing up: annual family vacation to Sprout Lake. We rented a cabin on the lake for a week in August every summer.

Most influential person: My mom, she works so hard for my brother and I everyday and I look up to her in every aspect of my life.
Favourite rugby memory: captaining the inaugural U18 team Canada on a tour vs England in 2016.
Worst rugby memory: dislocating my shoulder in the warm up before the first game at U16 Nationals

Career plan: To become a Marine Biologist focusing on coral conservation
