GOVERNANCE AND ORGANIZATION

The Canadian Rugby Foundation takes great pride in its governance. It maintains very low overhead with no physical presence and only two part-time staff.  Our goal is to keep administrative expenses at less than one percent of assets to contribute to the Foundation’s net results and provide confidence to our Fund Sponsors and donors.

Oversight of the Foundation’s short- and long-term plans and activities is provided by our Board of Directors, Executive Committee,  and Standing Committees, whose members are comprised of volunteers with extensive business, non-profit, and rugby experience. Additional oversight is provided by the Contributing Members at the Foundation’s Annual General Meeting. In addition to the Standing Committees, committees for the Foundation’s strategic priority committees (such as the Men’s and Women’s High-performance Initiative Committees) may be established, generally consisting of Board members or Contributing or voting members.
