Rebecca is the 2016 winner of the Howard and Marina Gerwing Scholarship. She studies at UVic and plays club rugby for Cowichan. She represented the Vancouver Island Tide in 2015.

Favourite book: Harry Potter series
Career plans: I graduate as a Mechanical Engineer in August, I’ve primarily worked so far as a reliability engineer in coal and diamond mines.
Rugby goals in next 2 years: To help my club team (Cowichan Piggies) advance further in the premier league.
