Congratulations to Brittany Sims selected for the 2015 George Jones Scholarship.

Favourite memory growing up: Going on long bike rides with my family
Position played:  Hooker (mostly)
First year playing rugby: 2002
Favourite coach:  There have been many, but I’m really excited to learn/train under Mark Wyatt and Clay Panga when I return from injury
Most influential person in life:  My sister
Favourite rugby memory:  Winning the Women’s BC Premiership in 2012
Worst rugby memory: Losing the Women’s BC Premiership in the the final seconds of the game in 2011
Favourite movie: I can’t pick just 1
Favourite musician: Meatloaf
Favourite book:  Anything by Cathy Glass
Career plans: Teacher in middle or elementary school
Rugby goals in next 2 years: return to full strength post injury and earn a spot back on the BC senior women’s team
Favourite other hobbies: learning new skills. Last year I learned to play the alto saxophone and ice hockey.
