Just being with my family.<br \/>\nPosition played:\u00a0 Switch between halfback and flyhalf.<br \/>\nFirst year playing rugby:\u00a02010<br \/>\nFavourite coach:\u00a0John Tait<br \/>\nMost influential person in life:\u00a0Too many people to count.<br \/>\nFavourite rugby memory:\u00a0Scoring my one and only try in the Youth Olympic Games against Tunisia.<br \/>\nWorst rugby memory:\u00a0Doing testing for Team Canada, in front of national team players, and tripping and falling on my face in triple broad jump. Too funny.<br \/>\nFavourite movie:\u00a0It\u2019s a toss up\u00a0between\u00a0Thor and Transformers!<br \/>\nFavourite musician:\u00a0Can\u2019t say I have\u00a0just\u00a0one favourite.<br \/>\nFavourite book:\u00a0Dreamland by Sarah Dessen<br \/>\nCareer plans:\u00a0Playing rugby would be the best, however my backup is to become a psychologist.<br \/>\nRugby goals in next 2 years:\u00a0Getting carded would be an amazing achievement, but\u00a0going\u00a0to the 2016 Olympics would be incredible.<br \/>\nFavourite other hobbies: Reading.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Congratulations to Lauren Kerr selected as one of the winners of the 2014 George Jones Scholarship.
