CORE provides rugby development infrastructure and services to players, coaches and other rugby enthusiasts in the Central Okanagan.\u00a0CORE is dedicated to “growing and developing the sport of rugby in the Central Okanagan.” It serves local athletes, families, and rugby organizations by focusing on player development rather than team development. It works with local rugby clubs and schools to establish and sustain player development pathways and programs for rugby athletes. CORE also provides financial support to rugby youth through scholarships, bursaries, and other forms of financial support.<\/p>\n

“CORE has done good work in the past decade, supporting talented rugby leaders whose rugby programs established a firm foundation for rugby development in the region,” said Chris Haynes, President of CORE. “Our goal for the next decade is to work with schools and local rugby organizations to extend and coordinate player programming for 13 – 19-year-old players”.<\/p>\n
