Julia Folk is a student athlete at the University of Victoria. She finished grade twelve at Dr. Martin LeBoldus High School in Regina, Saskatchewan as class valedictorian and has moved from the prairie to make the coast her new home. There, she is a starting rookie for the University of Victoria Women’s Rugby Team this year.
Currently Julia is studying in the faculty of science in hopes of medical school in the future. In addition to her studies, she is a member of two school clubs— Athletes in Action and UVic Me to We—and maintains an interest in music. The clubs in which she is involved display her interest in her faith and in social justice activism. Overall, Julia can be described as an involved student who works equally hard in the classroom and on the pitch.
